Rumbles heard up high

Flashes, Light streaks in the sky

I know the rain

The scent, the aroma

Before it falls

I know the rain

Rumbles in my mind

Fleashes, memories

I know the rain

Remnants of my life

Events that made me fall

I know the rain

It washes over me

Takes my breath,

Silences my call

I know the rain

It is not water that falls

It is the wave of pain

I know the rain.
