Touched in The Darkness By T. Alisha Rogers

Touched in the darkness

A small flicker of light

Unexpected

Unaccepted

But resilient in might

Touched in the darkness

A hint of  hope

Unexpected

Unrequested

A soul evenly yoked

Touched in the darkess

The evidence of pain

Unexpected

Unreflective

It cleansed as the rain

Touched in the darkness

A hand offering trust

Unexpected

Unrejected

To embrace it is a must

Touched in the darkness

Offering love unconditional

Not romantic

Not semantic

Just love, strait love

Touched in the darkness

By a stranger, now friend

To take away the hurt

To bring the pain to an end

Touched in the darkness

By love unfelt before

Unexpected

Thoroughly accepted

To love again once more

Touched in the darkness

To realize meaning in my life

Accepted

So reflected

I loved you

You were my light

Kiss By T. Alisha Rogers

There is a prelude which exists

A dance that twirls with turns and twists

Be attentive,  the description is this

A brush of the hand with gentle finger tips

Lightly gliding down the arm caressing the skin

Step in closer, raise the chin, hesitate

Touch each other gently cheek to cheek

Lips glide slowly along the shoulders, the neck

Inhale the fragrance of their essence

Their bodies, their sex

Arms reach forward, explore, embrace

The anticipation grows, it builds, hearts race

The time has come, the time to taste

Soft meets warm, electric, like fire

The succulence, the sweetness

The intensity, the desire

Seductively, unyielding

Passionately unquiet

Induldge in this thing,

This forbidden bliss

Engraved in the soul

The euphoria of the Kiss

Rain by T. Alisha Rogers

I know the rain

Rumbles heard up high

Flashes, Light streaks in the sky

I know the rain

The scent, the aroma

Before it falls

I know the rain

Rumbles in my mind

Fleashes, memories

I know the rain

Remnants of my life

Events that made me fall

I know the rain

It washes over me

Takes my breath,

Silences my call

I know the rain

I know the rain

It is not water that falls

It is the wave of pain

I know the rain.

Streams of Tears By T. Alisha Rogers

Streams...
My tears are streams,
Streams that flow
Continually,
Not down my face
But from my heart,
Tears of water,
Tears that bleed
Like the flow of life force
Through me...
No streams
Flow from mine eyes,
Keeping the closed
To hide
To hide
To hide

Empty By T. Alisha Rogers

In the dark of the night

In silence, eyes shut tightly

No water escapes,

No water makes streams on my face

Quietly I suffer my plight

In the darkness of night

The reality burns loudly

Hollow, vacant, an abyss

So soft weeps the soul

Leached was kindness

Leached was compassion

Drained was love

Drained was passion

No more

There is no more

All that remains

A shell, Broken

and Empty
