Spirit bound, now free, 
Reflectively, effectively,
I re-learn to be me

Unconsciously, emotionally, mentally bruised
Unknowingly, logically, cleverly, abused. 
The signes were there,
The events, the evidence

Failure to record,
Document the incidence.

Devoutly in denial, no, not me
I would know, I studied this you see

Until the end, the walk away, the discard
Refusing to realize, it was much too hard

The critique off hand

Circumventing verbal conflict,
I conceded to the commands

Eyes once closed
