Laura R. Gadson is a Harlem based artist and curator. Known for her work in the art of quilting and for coordinating events for fellow artists she makes a Harlem brownstone her studio and private gallery.

Joyce has had the chance to work with many well-known Italian and international artists such as Paolo Conte, Randy Crawford, Ron, Donna Summer, Laura Pausini, Elio e Le Storie Tese, Toto Cotugno, Andrea Mingardi, The Blues Bros. Band, Eddie Floyd, Ronan Keating and renown disco diva Gloria Gaynor with whom she has a recurrent role as a backing singer during her Italian tours and European performances.

There have also been a number of television appearances on Italian television such as Canale 5, TMC and Rai. She has also been featured on a number of commercial and radio jingles. Not being known to get stuck in just one place, Joyce has also expanded into other areas of music such as house and dance and her voice is featured on numerous singles, some of which reached the top European Dance charts. 
 
However, Joyce’s smooth and more profound vocal talents are far more easily recognized in jazz which is her primary genre of music and style. And blues where she has demonstrated her get down “nitty-gritty” style. 
 
Joyce still continues to demonstrate her talents and more than often performs at numerous jazz and blues festivals in Italy and around Europe. She has participated at events such as the Umbria Jazz Festival, Rapperswil Blues & Jazz Festival, Trasimeno Blues, Mantova Music Festival and many, many more. 
 
Not straying far from her gospel roots, she is the leader of the group GospeL TimeS who have already proven their excellence during many performances in various music festivals and recorded a gospel cd entitled Blues 2 Jazz 2 Gospel 2. 
 
She will continue for as long as it takes to touch the whole world.

After relocating to Milan, during her 

freshman years of the Italian lifestyle, she 

joined with two musicians and they formed 

the group 3*D. The group recorded a cover 

version of Toto’s Georgy Porgy and the track 

was stylishly remixed by JP “Bluey” Maunick 

of Incognito fame and by Steve Lyon. With 

the latter remixing the whole project entitled 

“Deep Inside” on Sony/Tristar. After having 

U.S. success with the song the group 

unfortunately faced difficulties and was 

forced to retire. 

 

But that didn’t stop Joyce in her tracks as she continued on a road that would 

bring her many other opportunities.

It can be confirmed that Joyce Yuille has had a 

pretty interesting life in which music has played 

a major part in some way. Starting as a runway 

model she eventually found her true path…The 

union between her soul and God given talent as a 

singer. 

 

Born in New York City, diverse genres of music 

continuously filled the rooms of the El Barrio 

based apartment where she grew up. From the 

neighbours stereo’s to the many street parties 

that took place. A mixture of multi ethnicity that 

only a city like New York can offer, a melting pot 

that has aided her in her creativity and way to 

approach life. Accepting everyone as they are 

and trying to share a vision.
