Today's Thought by T. Alisha Rogers

In the grand design, there is always what we perceive as free will. These are crossroads where decisions are made at the moment, for the moment, that set forth a course of events which affect a situation in the future. How it manifests or develops into an unexpected reality isn't as important as how we deal with it. Some accept the consequences of their actions while others do not. Our actions inevitably have an effect on someone else. Being conscious of this, when we choose to be impulsive or spontaneous, may prevent undesired outcomes in the unforeseen future.

Today's Thought by T. Alisha Rogers

Personal conflict isn't always a bad thing. Being reminded or reflecting on past events should encourage us to carefully think things through before making a decision. We should push ourselves to do better, strive for a positive goal. A great many things can be learned from our life experiences, it is up to the individual to determine what will or has bee learned.

Today's Thought by T. Alisha Rogers

The perception of interpersonal relationships is more deeply rooted than most. When we take a moment to analyze how each of us is connected, we must also examine where we are disconnected. The question to ask is "Do we have the ability to balance ourselves with the needs of those who are close as well as those who are acquaintances?" How one answers depends on their definition of "love and service".

Today's Thought by T. Alisha Rogers

The impact of  people we meet on our lives is phenomenal, consequential. The honor of being called a friend comes with the responsibility of knowing how significant one is in another's life. Be mindful, the absence of a friend, in the deeper sense of the word, invokes a sense of loss that reverberates to an individual's core. It is painful, to not be a part of a friend's life... it is a death.

Today's Thought by T. Alisha Rogers

As one examines the condition of the daily struggles of life, we are observant of the effect on the psyche, the interpersonal communication, relationships, friendships. Inherently most people are empathetic to the struggles of others. Compassion for those individuals can be overwhelming when we are helpless to ease those struggles. Many times we become so involved with others we lose ourselves trying to help. The task to humankind is to globally assist lest we forget our purpose on this earth.
